The Vivekananda International Foundation (VIF) hosted several delegations on the sidelines of The Raisina Dialogue, an annual multilateral conference held in New Delhi, from March 17-19, 2025. Representing premier think-tanks and eminent institutions, the delegations included representatives from fifteen countries- Australia, Belgium, China, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Hungary, Iran, Kenya, Netherlands, Russia, South Africa, Ukraine, USA, Yemen- in addition to representatives from the Munich Security Conference and NATO.

In a world marked by shifting alliances, growing uncertainties, and new opportunities, conversations across borders have never been more important. Understanding the priorities, concerns, and aspirations that shape different countries is essential in developing responses to shared challenges and pathways for cooperation. The VIF Team prepared The Visiting Delegations Report ‘Global Dialogues and Strategic Perspectives’ encapsulating the discussions between the delegations and an equally notable panel comprising VIF’s distinguished fellows and research scholars. Diverse range of issues were discussed, including the evolving geopolitical and geoeconomic landscape, challenges of the ongoing conflicts, regional impact of the changing world order, and India’s multilateral and bilateral cooperation with different countries. The visiting delegations were also briefed on India’s civilizational ethos, core national security and foreign policy objectives, and India’s growing role at the global stage.

As the world navigates complex geopolitical shifts, these global dialogues serve as crucial platforms for fostering strategic insights and shaping informed perspectives. By bringing together diverse voices from across the globe, the discussions deepened the understanding of emerging challenges and contributed in shaping the narrative that will define the future of international affairs.
