G20 was given a special focus during the talk as India will be taking the presidency of the same for the next year which would coincide with Indonesia’s chairing of the ASEAN. This would provide both the countries opportunities to work together on a number of geopolitical and economic challenges in the region.

A wide range of issues including post-pandemic recovery, Russia- Ukraine war as well as the disruption of global supply chain, security and maritime cooperation, relations with ASEAN, food and energy security, blue economy, digitalisation, technology, public health and counter-terrorism were discussed.
