Over the years Vimarsh has emerged as a leading platform to facilitate interaction between the eminent people and the general public. The VIF is guided by the life and message of Swami Vivekananda who had a deep and abiding faith in Indian civilization and its spiritual heritage. On 13 March 2023, the Vimarsh talk was given by Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS), Admiral R Hari Kumar.

The Director of Vivekananda International Foundation extend a warm welcome to the CNS and provided a backdrop of the current challenges in the region and the world in the geo-political context and the contribution of the Indian Navy in the Security architecture of India. After the introduction of the topic of “National Security Challenges in the Maritime Domain” the Admiral was invited to give his talk. The entire script of the talk is attached.
The address by the CNS was very well received by the audience and subsequently had a wide ranging Q&A with the members of the audience and media present.
