The Vivekananda International Foundation (VIF) receives a large number of foreign delegations, student groups and individuals who do not have a great deal of familiarity with India but wish to know about the country, its history, geography, civilisation, culture, foreign policy, security challenges, etc. A need has been felt for an authentic and informative set of notes which can be used for briefings and be shared with visiting delegations.

Monthly Compilation of Views of VIF Expert Groups: October 2022

In the month of October 2022 Vivekananda International Foundation (VIF) organized a total of five expert group meetings. This month’s report also contains the newly created Africa expert group’s first meeting discussions. Thus in the last two months the VIF has instituted two new expert groups to capture key areas of focus.

Monthly Compilation of Views of VIF Expert Groups: October 2021

Vivekananda International Foundation organized four expert groups and one Vimarsha through webinars on events and topics affecting India’s interests worldwide in the month of October 2021. The expert and discussion groups provide layers of understanding and contextualized the present discourse from the past for the future. The diversity of the expertise of each of the members of the expert and discussion groups brought rich flavor and knowledge on the topic through their varied professional backgrounds (military, diplomacy and academia).

The Vivekananda International Foundation in October hosted different Expert Groups through video conferencing. Members of these groups contributed immensely by sharing knowledge gained through vast experience in their respective fields. This issue contains reports of the U.S, Pakistan, West Asia, and China Expert Groups.
