M Indrabalan is a serving Indian Army officer pursuing part time PhD in Macroeconomics of Social Entrepreneurship from Ahmedabad University. A Master of Business Administration from VGSoM, Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, and MSc from Madras University, the officer is a civil engineer by profession and was a faculty for military strategy in Army War College.He was deputed as a military observer in UN Mission in Sierra Leone.He has served the country in Kashmir and NE and Kargil War 1999.
