Dr. Himani Pant was an Associate Fellow at the Vivekananda International Foundation from (February 2020 - November 2021). She focuses on the domestic and foreign policy of the European Union, United States and Russia. She has done her M Phil and PhD from the Centre for European Studies (School of International Studies), Jawaharlal Nehru University. Her M Phil dissertation focused on the asylum debate in Germany in the early 1990s. Her doctoral thesis focused on “The European Union and Russia in their Common Neighbourhood: A Case Study of Georgia and Ukraine, 2004-2016.” Previously, she worked as a Junior Fellow at the Observer Research Foundation, New Delhi. She was also a Visiting Research Scholar at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KU Leuven), Belgium for three months (February-April 2018).
