She was a Research Fellow with Vivekananda International Foundation (VIF) from (Apr 2019 - May 2021). Previously, she was working with Institute of Peace and Conflict Studies (IPCS), New Delhi. Her research interest include Maritime Security, Chinese Foreign Policy and India-China Relations. She is particularly interested in the developments of the Indian Ocean Region and the South China Sea vis-a-vis China. In 2015, she completed her PhD from the Department of East Asian Studies, University of Delhi on the subject “China and the geopolitics of the Indian Ocean: Implications for the Regional Security”. She received the Huayu Enrichment Scholarship to study Mandarin Language in Taiwan (September 2015 - February 2016). She has presented papers at several national and international conferences on her area of study.
