Wing Commander Vikas Kalyani was commissioned in the fighter stream of the Indian Air Force in December 2003. He is a Qualified Flying Instructor (QFI) and graduate of 71st Staff Course at DSSC. He is presently pursuing Ph. D. from Pune University from Department of Defence and Strategic Studies. His area of interest is Geo-politics in the IOR and he has also authored a book – ‘Vision SAGAR: IAF in the Indian Ocean’.
