Umang has completed his Master’s in Development Studies from School of Development Studies (SDS), Ambedkar University Delhi (AUD). He has done his graduation in commerce from Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, University of Delhi and has received merit scholarships during Master’s program. He has worked as an intern for Sanitation Capacity Building Platform (SCBP), a project under National Institute of Urban Affairs (NIUA). His research work primarily revolved towards City-Wide Inclusive Sanitation (CWIS), with the purview of income, gender, physical and other social disparities in the domain of sanitation. His dissertation in “Management of Bio-Medical in Delhi: During Covid-19” highlights the consequence of ill-managed waste on environmental and human ethos, and also focuses on the informal market scenarios adhering to the medical waste. With a keen interest in public policy & diplomacy, and employing apt interdisciplinary, he aspires to dwell into the formation, functioning, and impact of policy in the domain of international relations.
