Shreya Sinha is a Research Associate at Vivekananda International Foundation, New Delhi. She has submitted her PhD at the Centre for European Studies, School of International Studies (SIS), Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi. She completed her MPhil in European Studies from the same centre. Shreya has completed her Master’s in Politics with Specialisation in International Studies from SIS, JNU. She graduated from St. Stephen’s College, University of Delhi, with Political Science and History as her key disciplines. She was previously working as a guest lecturer at the Department of Political Science, St. Stephen’s College. Shreya has been awarded the DAAD Scholarship to attend 1-year of her PhD at the Otto-Suhr-Institut für Politikwissenschaft, Freie Universität Berlin, Germany. She has attended several national and international conferences on her area of research and presented papers at the University of Manchester, Dublin City University, etc. She has published research papers in international peer-reviewed journals like Journal of Asian Security and International Affairs (Sage), Strategic Analysis (Routledge Taylor & Francis), Journal of European and American Intelligence Studies, etc. She also writes commentaries which have appeared in dailies such as The Helsinki Times, The Sunday Guardian, European Politics and Policy Blog of the London School of Economics and Political Science, etc. Her core areas of research are defence and security studies, non-traditional security threats, terrorism, and counter-terrorism.
