Mr. Nirmalendu Roy is a retired personnel from the Sashastra Seema Bal with a 44-year tenure, serving under the Cabinet Secretariat and later the Ministry of Home Affairs. He has worked in the remote border regions on the Indo-Tibetan border, Indo-Bangladesh border, Indo-Myanmar border, Indo-Bhutan border, and Indo-Nepal border. He has a master’s degree in history from Gauhati University. Post-retirement, he dedicated himself to Sri Ramakrishna Sevashram in Tezpur and is presently the sitting vice president of the said institution. He has volunteered for the Vivekananda Kendra’s work in Arunachal Pradesh since 1974-75. He is the Karyalaya Pramukh of Vivekananda Kendra's Tezpur Nagar Samity, continuing his lifelong passion for service and spirituality inspired by Swami Vivekananda's ideals.
