Dr. Gulshan Rai was India’s first National Cyber Security Coordinator , Govt of India and based at the office of the Prime Minister. Earlier, he handled different responsibilities at Meity and also headed CERT India, STQC and ERNET under MeitY. He was member of the high powered committee which laid down blue print of Indian Computer Emergency Response team set up in 2004. He played instrumental role in the drafting of Information Technology Act,2000, it’s amendments in 2008 and rules thereunder, framing of National Cyber Security Policy, 2013 and international negotiations on cyber norms. He was member of the Expert Committee under Justice Shree Krishna. He is on the board of several companies.
