A former Senior Fellow at the Institute for Defence Studies & Analyses, New Delhi, Ford Fellow at the School of Public Affairs, University of Maryland, and Senior Fellow at the Geneva Centre for Democratic Control of the Armed Forces (DCAF), Ravinder Pal Singh headed the Arms Procurement Decision-Making project at Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI). Later, he worked on NATO Parliamentary Assembly’s project on security sector reforms in former Warsaw Pact countries and UN Conference on Arms Trade Treaty (ATT). Ravinder Pal Singh has researched, written and worked extensively across 30 countries on security sector reforms, arms transfer transparency and defence budgets alternatives.
