575 New Coronavirus Cases Reported in Afghanistan: TOLO News

The Ministry of Public Health on Monday reported 575 new positive cases of COVID-19 from 978 samples tested in the last 24 hours. Kabul was on the top of the list with 193 new cases, followed by Herat with 151. Other provinces reporting cases were Kandahar (39), Paktia (7), Nangarhar 23), Badghis (13), Takhar (5), Logar (22), Nimruz (10), Wardak (7), Parwan (13), Lagman (3), Helmand (39), Kunar (26), Ghor (10), Zabul (8), Badakhshan (1), and Daikundi (5). Legislators want to impeach Yangon chief minister: Myanmar Times

Some Yangon regional legislators have filed a resolution to impeach Chief Minister U Phyo Min Thein for holding a religious event in violation of the government ban on mass gatherings, among other things.
