The G20 made up of the 20 leading economies of the world is the foremost international forum for discussion and resolution of international economic issues. The G20 consists of the Finance track, the Sherpa track and the many engagement groups. India’s presidency of the G20 is ongoing and as a result there is keen interest in understanding the G20 processes. This podcast focuses on the Finance track of the G20. It traces the evolution of the finance track and the enlargement of its agenda. It highlights the role of the developing countries, including India, in the G20. It also sheds light on India’s stakes and issues of focus during its presidency.
