First Termez Dialogue Focuses on Trade and Transit Cooperation- Tolo News

The first meeting of "Termez Dialogue" themed "Building a Shared Space of Peace, Friendship and Prosperity," was held with the participation of political, economic, and trade representatives from over 20 countries, aimed at reviewing mutual engagement between Central and South Asia. Mohammad Naeem, deputy minister of finance and administration at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate, said during the meeting that Afghanistan should become a regional connector, a transit route, and a platform for trade and cultural cooperation among countries in the region. India has sent food aid to 5,000 Afghan deportees from Pakistan, providing essential supplies to support them during resettlement. The Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation of the Taliban has announced that the Indian government has supplied food assistance to 5,000 Afghan returnees expelled from Pakistan. On May 20, 2025, the ministry reported that approximately 11 essential food items were distributed to these returnees in Kabul.
