India has sent food aid to 5,000 Afghan deportees from Pakistan, providing essential supplies to support them during resettlement. The Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation of the Taliban has announced that the Indian government has supplied food assistance to 5,000 Afghan returnees expelled from Pakistan. On May 20, 2025, the ministry reported that approximately 11 essential food items were distributed to these returnees in Kabul.
